Personality Profiles...

Dusty Weis

I was born in '85 (the year that brought us "Money for Nothing," "The Boys of Summer," "The Power of Love," and "Sleeping Bag") and I've been working at Green County Broadcasting in some capacity since the Summer of 2002... I remember it like a Bryan Adams song... I began, as so many do, by handing out balloons to small children at county fairs and dairy breakfasts. Eventually, my mad skillz with a helium tank got me bumped up to a shift in the office, and since then, it's been one adventure after another... I've done everything from ballgame engineering to web design, news reporting to show production, spot work to dancing and singing to distract people from what they're supposed to be doing around here... don't tell the boss... I hosted my own local talent show back in the day, but it was "too hot for broadcast."

I am currently a junior of junior standing at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where I'm working on a double major of "Journalism" and, you guessed it, "Radio, TV, and Film." I work the occasional weekend, Christmas vacation, and Summer break wherever I'm needed on The Big Easy 93.7, Hit Radio Q102, and Am 1260. I also will be beginning a position as Productions Director at Madison's student radio station.

In my nonexistant spare time, I enjoy Packers and Badgers football, camping, canoeing, scuba diving, theater, music, drumming, Badgers hockey, reading, and swinging a golf club (I refuse to call it actually golfing). When I graduate school, I plan to sail the high seas as a dread pirate. 'Nuff said...
