Personality Profiles...

Wyatt McKinstry

I have been with Green County Broadcasting since August of 2004, so I'm sort of the newbie in the building. I have been working in radio in some capacity since I graduated high school. I started out at a station in Indiana, and from there I worked in Chicago Heights, Illinois for a few years. I then spent eight years in Kankakee, Illinois. I moved to Monroe in August of 2004 with my wife Carollyn. In june of 2005 we had our first child, Breanna. She's the most adorable baby ever!

I am the Monday through Friday afternoon host on AM 1260. I also work various weekend shifts on all three stations. I have been making the transition to news and have been learning a lot about the region and what makes it tick. I really enjoy broadcasting sports events and have called football, basketball, baseball, and hockey games. The nice thing about working at a small radio station is the feeling of family. Everyone here is a lot of fun, and it's a great place to work.
