Merlin Dammen, 75, of Argyle, died Saturday at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Argyle, where visitation will be Tuesday evening 4-8 pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Argyle. A memorial fund has been established. The Erickson Funeral Home of Argyle is serving the family. Survivors include his wife Betty; four sons Stephen, Richard and Gary, all of Argyle and Daryl of South Wayne; 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers Sylvan of Argyle and Paul of Monroe; and three sisters Delores Gabioud of Argyle, Sylvia Badertscher of Darlington and Barbara Engebretson of Lancaster; and a brother in law Bob McGowan of Blanchardville.
