Elsa Salesman, 90, of Argyle, died Sunday at Pleasant View Nursing Home. A visitation for Elsa Salesman will be Thursday evening 4-7 pm at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe.. private graveside services and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A memorial fund is being established. Survivors include her children Patsy in Missouri, James of Moline, John of Argyle, Linda in St. Paul and Richard of Merrill; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister Florence in Minnesota.

Gordon Smith, 80, of Darlington, died Friday morning at Memorial Hospital in Darlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday Mar 11 at 11:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Steil-Camacho Funeral Home in Darlington Wednesday 3-7 pm with the Parish and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 3 pm. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Gloria; a son Gary of Darlington; daughters Sharon in New Zealand, Laurie Makos of Dodgeville and Linda Smith of Johnson Creek; a daughter in law Sue Smith of Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

James "Rosey" Rosebrook, 79, of Argyle, died Monday at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.. a memorial fund has been established.. and the Erickson Funeral Home of Argyle is serving the family. Survivors include his wife Carol; three children Michael of Cedarville, John of Freeport and Kelly of Oxford; two honorary children Bonnie Germain and David Rosebrook; 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

Gordon "Gordie" Canon, 64, of Argyle, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be Saturday at 4 pm at the Cornerstone Lutheran Church at Argyle where friends may call Saturday 1 pm until time of services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established and the Erickson Funeral Home of Argyle is serving the family. Survivors include his wife Shirley Jean; a son Scott of rural Blanchardville; two daughters Penny Monahan of Argyle and Wendy Canon of New Glarus; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson; his step father Donald Peebles of East Dubuque and a half brother in Arkansas.

Wayne Collins, 78, of Argyle, died Wednesday morning at Monroe Clinic Hospital. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Argyle. A private family visitation will be held on Friday.. burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Argyle. The Erickson Funeral Home of Argyle is serving the family. A memorial fund has been established, and out of respect, Irma's Kitchen in Argyle will be closed through Sunday March 14th. Survivors include his wife Irma; nine children Diane in Ransom, Ill, Cynthia in Kentucky, Mary in Morris, Ill, Judy Pink of Monroe, Betty Jo Tourdot of Rochelle, John of Gratiot, Janet Fox of Wiota, and Joyce Flanagan and Patricia Noble both of Argyle; 28 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren; and a brother Thomas in Illinois.

Terry Buol, 54, of Troy, Illinois, formerly of Monroe, died March 5th at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill. A celebration of Terry's life will be Monday March 15th from 5-7 pm at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe. Memorials may be made to the Fischer House. Survivors include his wife Linda; sons Christopher of Fairview Heights, Ill, Paul of Tucson and Nickolas of Ft. Bragg; several grandchildren; sisters and brothers Valerie Pick of Monroe, Anne Prete of Milton, Allen in South Carolina, Mark of Monroe and Robert in Texas.
